Author
Federico De Caroli
writing as Deca
Better known by the pseudonym Deca, the name on almost all of his discography, he made his reputation above all as a composer of electronic and ambient music, later moving into theatre, multimedia and television. He has written music for RAI, the Italian national broadcaster, for over a decade. His first vinyl releases have become sought-after collectors’ items. Much of his output is distributed worldwide today through the EMI and APM catalogues. He has long made the world of dreams the keystone of both his personal and his artistic life. He has also pursued a narrative vein, signing several novels of the fantastic and the surreal, as well as comics and graphic novels. He was among the founders and promoters of the Manifesto of Distonirism.
